Born from California's love of nature — and a frustration with plastic.
Cali Greenware was founded on a simple belief: the way we eat shouldn't cost the earth. We watched single-use plastic tableware pile up at events, restaurants, and homes across California — and we knew there had to be a better way.
Our products are made from nature's most renewable materials: areca palm leaves naturally shed by trees, sugarcane fiber left over from sugar production, and wheat straw from the harvest. Nothing is grown or harvested specifically for our products — we use what nature already provides.
Every item we sell is 100% compostable, free from plastics and PFAS chemicals, and breaks down completely within 90 days in a home compost environment. Beautiful for your table. Harmless for the earth.

Everything we do flows from a deep respect for California's natural beauty and a commitment to leaving it better than we found it.
Every product we make breaks down completely within 90 days. No microplastics, no toxic residue — just nutrients returned to the earth.
We use fallen palm leaves, sugarcane byproducts, and wheat straw — materials that exist as natural abundance, not farmed resources.
California's outdoor culture, farm-to-table movement, and environmental leadership inspire every product we design and every decision we make.
We've committed to keeping plastic entirely out of our supply chain — no coatings, no liners, no hidden synthetic materials.
We partner with local farmers markets, restaurants, and event venues who share our vision for a cleaner California.
Our products meet rigorous compostability standards and are free from PFAS, BPA, and harmful coatings. Tested. Verified. Safe.
Naturally shed leaves from the areca palm tree are collected, cleaned, and heat-pressed into plates and bowls. No trees are cut. No chemicals used. Each piece has a unique natural texture that makes it truly one-of-a-kind.
The fibrous pulp left after sugar is extracted from sugarcane. This agricultural byproduct is molded into bowls, plates, and containers. It's microwave-safe, oil-resistant, and fully compostable — a perfect circular material.
Straw left in fields after wheat harvest is typically burned or discarded. We transform it into durable, lightweight cutlery and cups. Another material rescued from waste and given new purpose.
